Here is a step by step guide which is easy to follow and will only take a few minutes to make homemade lip balm.
  1. Measure beeswax, Sheabutter and Coconut oil in a beaker
  2. Make double boiler by filling a large saucepan with about 1-2 inches of water and bring water to boil
  3. Once water is boiling, place the glass measuring cup with the ingredients in middle of the saucepan
  4. Stir occasionally until everything is melted
  5. Once all the ingredients are melted, remove from heat and let it sit for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Now add Sweet Orange Essential oil and stir
  7. Pour the mixture into containers. Be careful not to overfill
  8. Allow Lip balm to cool for 18-20 hours before capping them.

For best results, apply twice daily.

Keep this lipbalm away from direct sunlight and heat to keep it firm. You can use this lip balm within 6 months.

How to Avoid Holes in Lip balm?
Sometimes you might notice there is a small hole in the center of your lipbalm. This happens as lip balm solidifies and hardens. In order to avoid this, fill the tubes almost till top. Let it sit for 10 minutes and then add a little bit more of the melted mixture at the top to fill the hole.
