Usage

Only for external usage, After the Rain Fragrance Oil is extremely concentrated. Never use scents directly on your skin since they can irritate it.

 

Luxury fragrance soaps: After the Rain Fragrance oil can be used to create luxury soap. Maximum usage for Melt & Pour soaps should not exceed 3.5%. We advise using 75–90 grams of fragrance oil for every 1 kg of fats and oils in your recipe when making cold-process soap.  We advise using 50–70 grams of fragrance oil for every 1 kg of fats and oils in your recipe for hot process soap.

 

Not the overall amount of soap, but rather per kg of FATS/OILS in cold and hot process soaps, is the recommended guideline.

 

Making candles: For use in candles, we advise a dosage of 6-8%. Both the cold and heat throws of the smells are excellent. We suggest using a fixative like an isopropyl myristate (20% IPM to 80% fragrance) with the wax to increase hot throw.

 

Bath Oils: Since this is a rinse-off product, you can add up to 5% in bath oils (we recommend starting low at around 2% and increasing if necessary).
