Cajeput oil is produced by steam distillation of fresh leaves and twigs of the Cajeput tree. It has fresh and fruity aroma and is similar to the aroma of tea-tree as it belongs to the fame family of plants as tea tree

Common Uses

Skin: It smoothens and brightens skin while keeping skin free from infections. It also helps to tone the skin. The oil is natural detoxifier with anti-inflammatory properties, it can help fight against acne.

Body:

Reduces Pain: For aching joints and muscles, application of this oil can provide great relief. It is analgesic in nature and therefore when applied to sore body parts, it immediately provides relief.

Relieves congestion: Being a decongestant, it gives immediate relief in congestion of nose, throat and other respiratory organs.

Mind: Helps to clear mind and improve focus. Emotionally and energetically, cajeput essential oil clears and uplifts. This essential oil encourages mental clarity by clearing the mind and improving levels of concentration.

Others: Cajeput oil is efficient in killing and driving away insects. The insecticidal properties of this oil are so strong that its diluted solution can be sprayed or vaporized in air to drive away mosquitoes. A blend of this oil can also be applied on body to keep insects away.

Blends Well With:  Cedarwood, Clove Bud, Rosemary, Thyme, Clary sage, Geranium, Lavender, Nutmeg

Caution: Avoid during pregnancy and with sensitive skin. It can cause possible sensitization in some individuals, so use in very low concentration only. It is important to note that all Essential Oils are extremely concentrated in nature and if to be applied on the skin or body, should always be diluted upto a maximum dosage of 4% in a suitable carrier oil.
